ATTENDANCE

Parents should see that their wards do not absent themselves from school except under unavoidable circumstances. Pupils must be in the school premises before the 1st bell at 8.25 a.m.

  • If the pupil is to be absent from the school, application for leave must be made and sanction obtained prior to absence.
  • No half a day leave or permission to go home during school hours will be granted except in case of emergency at the discretion of the Principal. A written request from the parent is necessary in all such cases.
  • Students, absenting from the school for more than three days because of medical reasons will have to provide a medical certificate.
  • Absence on the reopening day is strictly not allowed.
  • Pupils of classes X, XI and XII must attend all the revision tests and examinations. If a student is absent without any valid reason, it will be viewed seriously.
  • Certificates for 100% attendance is given to students.

RULES

  • The authorities may frame and issue from time to time disciplinary rules of permanent or temporary character, regulating the conduct of the students within the campus and outside as far as such rules seem necessary to maintain the usefulness and reputation of the institutions. The student has to abide by these rules.
  • Habitual late coming, insubordination of the school authorities/ teachers and any kind of cheating or serious misconduct will be referred to the Disciplinary Committee.
  • Any student found loitering in the school premises would be seriously dealt with. During working hours, a restless or easygoing attitude must be avoided.
  • Certificates for 100% attendance is given to students.

GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS & PARENTS:



  • Students should attend the school in proper, neat and ironed uniform.
  • Students are responsible for the safety of their own belongings. The school cannot be held responsible for the loss of the student's belongings.

  • Change of address of the pupil, if any should be intimated to the school office immediately.
  • Writing or scribbling on the walls or furniture and damage to any school property is forbidden. The class will be penalized collectively if the culprits are not found out. Chewing gum is strictly forbidden in the school premises.
  • Parents who seek information may meet the Head of the school between 9.30 am & 10.30 am on Mondays and on other day with prior appointment. Parents may meet the class / subject teachers between 3.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. on working days.
  • Students are expected to take part in all the co curricular activities of the school. Opportunities are given and the pupils should avail them.
  • Students are prohibited from bringing their personal magazines, CD, pen drive, cell phone or storybooks to school Suggestion box is provided in the school premises. Parents and students can make valuable suggestions for the development of the school.
  • Go through your daily time table and bring the required text and exercise books only to the school

INSTRUCTIONS TO PUPILS



  • See that every day you devote at least 1 hour each for language and Mathematics.
  • Read the school diary carefully and bring it to school every day Make a note in it, of anything important to you.
  • Do not interfere when teachers are conversing.

  • Wish all teachers irrespective of the classes they handle. Stand up at once and wish a teacher or visitor when he/she enters or leaves the classroom.
  • Be polite while speaking to teachers and elders in general.
  • Maintain silence in the absence of a teacher.
  • Revise old portions of different subjects every day by rotation. Effective study methods will lead to an understanding and knowledge of your subjects, which will enable you to discuss write about the matter with confidence.
  • Practice handwriting every day for ten minutes.
  • Do not study with tension just before the exams. Be prepared the moment you finish the lesson for an examination.
  • Keep your school clean and tidy.
  • Aim at full attendance and unfailing punctuality, so that you may get the best out of the school.
  • Behave well even outside the school in such a way that your teachers and parents may be proud of you.
  • Cultivate the habit of quiet, controlled movement and speech.
  • Converse in English to improve your spoken language.
